AEG is first known as the largest owner of sports teams in the world, and holds ownership in ten North American sports teams including the LA Kings (NHL) and MLS teams the LA Galaxy, NY/NJ MetroStars, Chicago Fire, Colorado Rapids, San Jose Earthquakes and DC United, in addition to seven more professional teams across Europe. AEG is also creating the Home Depot National Training Center in Carson City, CA that will include major facilities for soccer, tennis, track & field, and cycling, in addition to two new soccer stadiums under development in New York and Washington, DC.
